When are we open?

Monday to Friday 10-00am till 2-00pm


What is the maximum amount that the deposit bond will cover?

Currently we will not exceed £650- per tenant.


How long does it take to process a claim on the bond?

We aim to process all claims within 10 working days.


What if I have to evict my tenant?

We can offer impartial advice to both Landlords and Tenants on all tenancy related issues.


What if my tenant stops paying the rent?
Rentstart will write, telephone and, if necessary, visit the tenant to assist with advice. We actively encourage tenants to keep up-to-date with rent payments. This helps to reduce claims on our ‘bond fund’ (charitable donations). Also, we normally make a point of refusing further help to tenants who default on payment.

Are my details kept confidential?
We have a policy of strict confidentiality - no information is distributed without the individual’s consent.

If I have a complaint, what can I do?
Rentstart has a ‘complaints procedure’ which, if necessary, will involve members of the committee.
