Currently we will not exceed the LHA rate for the accommodation
How long does it take to process a claim on the bond?
We aim to process all claims within 10 working days.
What if I have to evict my tenant? What if I am being evicted?
We can offer impartial advice to both Landlords and Tenants on all tenancy related issues.
What if my tenant stops paying the rent?
•Rentstart will write, telephone and, if necessary, visit the tenant to assist with advice.
•We actively encourage tenants to keep up-to-date with rent payments.
•This helps to reduce claims on our ‘bond fund’ (charitable donations).
•We always make a point of refusing further help to tenants who default on payment.
Are my details kept confidential?
We have a policy of strict confidentiality and no information is distributed without
the individual’s consent.
